Clothespin Project “Holds On” for Clothesline Sale
The 59th Annual Clothesline Sale of Art has been cancelled due to the pandemic but the Corvallis Art Guild has created a unique way to share art with the Corvallis and Benton County community the month of August.
Participating Members, each with our own ideas, tools and skills, will use clothespins – or the idea of clothespins – the indispensable partner of clotheslines – to convey a sense of ‘holding on’ in this time of the pandemic.
Creating art that shows that life and imagination will continue on, CAG artists hope to inspire the community through their diverse art sharing their interpretations of ‘holding on’.
Clothespin creations will be displayed on social media, on an online gallery hosted on the Guild website, and in the Footwise shoe store window on Third Street in Corvallis during the month of August.
